Pocket Monsters XY&Z 015 A Brigarron from the Wilderness! The Tree-planting Robon!!

Satoshi and his friends have discovered Robon, a robot constantly moving around trying to grow plants in the wilderness. It appears that this area was full of greenery in the past, but at one point plants would no longer grow there. Satoshi and the others try their hardest to help Robon, but it just doesn't go that well. Will they be able to bring the greenery back to the wilderness?

  2. THANK YOU GUYS!

I want to just say, busy person that I am, I usually have time for a quick "thanks": but I want you guys to know that I appreciate all of the effort that you guys put into these subs. Lots of love, I can tell. From sing-a-long subbing, the translator notes, and the time put into Japanese=English slang, punctuation, and grammar. You guys are top notch!

Taking on an anime series that has over 1000 episodes total and had a decade-long head start is daunting. I know your staff is limited too, and you all have lives and commitments. I am glad that quality hasn't been sacrificed for speed or quicker releases due to more staff members.

Due to all of this, when a commitment to take on the full-length movies and MANY misc ovas and specials that pop up over the year, it is easy for things to accumulate. Especially when older seasons are being subbed on the side too.

With that said, i am VERY happy to see another subbed episode up a day after the one which preceded it. This shows dedication. This shows care. This shows concern and effort. Thank you so much for going out of your way to stay on pace with the story-line. This is especially true with a series that averages an episode every week year-round!

I hope people will stop adding "hurry up" or "do you know when the next episode will be out" after every thank you that they give. I understand that the entire five or six step process is difficult. I appreciate the time and effort put already into the hundreds of episodes that have been subbed already.

You guys are truly, and unquestionably, the best.

  3. I agree with much of what Brian Francisco has said. Most groups haven't even bothered to fansub the Pocket Monsters anime. And those that have are either long gone with only a handful of episodes released, or only bothered to translate things like the movies, the Porygon episode, or the episodes that were banned outside of Japan.

You've done a fantastic job in tackling such a huge project. And while I can't speak for everyone, I'm sure there are plenty of people willing to wait for your work, so don't let all the impatient people get you down.

    2. Yeah, that's right, I didn't know you watch that. I live in Tokyo, Japan (been here for six years now; which means I can watch this on an HD TV screen), though I watch these subs because Japanese is not my native language (studied for years in Japan from 2005-2008, learned the grammar patterns and kanji up to 2010 using online resources, and now I'm good at it). I wonder if Kokonpoipoi actually translates to anything.

    3. Yeah, it airs right before Pokemon and Aikatsu, so I watch it every week. It's cute.

As for "Kokonpoipoi", it doesn't really MEAN anything, though it's clearly based on the phrase "Chichinpuipui", which is roughly the Japanese equivalent of the magic spell phrase "hocus pocus" and similar phrases.
