A mysterious woman riding a Bohmander suddenly appears before Satoshi and his friends' eyes. She's one of the evil "Pokémon Hunters", a group that make use of high-tech devices to make Pokémon solid, turning them into what looks like bronze statues! After Satoshi witnesses a Pokémon get stolen right in front of him, he chases after the Hunter, but not only does she attack him, she also steals Pikachu! DeleteThere were several lines I couldn't read without stopping and rewinding. Maybe these old episodes are faster paced, but it never bothered me before with Pocket Monsters subs.

The first was probably at 2:39, where "Bomander came about as a long...", where I had to stop, rewind and pause the playback to read the rest.
DeleteThat's an issue with the source material. The zukan entries in the anime are usually taken from the games, either partially or entirely, so we use the official translation from the games for the subs. The problem is that for some reason, the gen 3 entires have really really long and rambly translations that take up a lot of space, despite being translated from Japanese entries that aren't any longer than they are in other games.
DeleteThe Bohmander zukan entry in this episode is taken from Ruby (with a very very minor wording change that doesn't affect the translation any), so the subs use the entry from the English translation of that game.
From what I seen on last weeks Sun and Moon intro credits we have new members to keep us up to date on the new ones now which is how we managed to complete catchup.

I've just noticed, Diamond and Pearl 5 is stated as the 'next release', but the earliest episode I see is episode 4 in the torrent section? Did you guys do the episode 1-3 and the links got lost or something?
