    1. U missed the most important thing - The all time annoying CN logo

    2. I watch the English dub on iTunes, it doesn't have the CN logo at all, and on DVD, same too, only if you watch pirated television broadcasts of the dub. The only thing you get is the TXN (TV Tokyo) network's logo that pocketmonsters gets its copy of the episode from.

The dub songs are good to me, I mean Stand Tall for the English theme of the XYZ series seems like a lazy waste of money for TPCi, they should've put more thought into it (although it's not like they were going to reuse the Outsiders theme, since Pocket Monsters never re-uses other copyrighted songs, someone faked the tweet and SoundCloud file by just putting "Pokémon!" to the end of the theme to make it seem legitimate.

The edits, IKR, they removed the scene with Booster using Flamethrower in the second episode. Also, the Pokémon Quiz is better and they allow themselves to do more things in the Japanese version than TPCi allows themselves to do (they can't reuse the same Pokémon again in another episode in the X&Y series, which is why they chose to use Symboler for the final episode's Who's that Pokémon). Heck, they even chose to use a human character in the Aopulco episode (Obaba). They can use disguised Pokémon too. Seems TPCi has recently allowed themselves to use nicknamed Pokémon as of the first XY&Z episode, as they named it Squishy instead of Zygarde Core, because that's what Eureka called it and it wasn't recognized by Satoshi and Serena's Pokédexes, but they made an exception for that one.

They cut music because they are made for the Japanese version and nobody would be used to an English dub showing a Japanese theme, but it was heard in the dub episode Same Old Song and Dance instrumentally.

Voice actors depends, Hariborg sounded horribly in the English dub. Tsutomu's voice wasn't worsened though.

    3. They changed Eievui's voice.....Stuff like that really irritates me. Changing Pokemon voices that do not need changed. I think the worst change was Tekkanin (Ninjask)...They had Okido's English voice actor play that Pokemon and it was horrible...No excuse for that.

  3. Here we are at the final key! It has been so fun watching Serena's journey over the last two and a half years. While I DO feel that May and Dawn had good growth stories, I really enjoy how Serena's started with her having several talents (Rhyhorn racing, poffins), but not knowing off the bat what she wanted to do at first. In fact, it took nearly a year IRL.

She made her decision during a summer evening at a camp due to the encouragement of a new friend and rival. From there she has had slip-ups which did not reflect her true talent, victories, and made more rivals and friends.

Now we find her at another event, with one key left needed to complete her path to the Master Class. If this can be one, it is on to the big leagues. Of course, a new rival appears in this episode. What will happen? Stay tuned.

Is it just me, or do the Pokemon League/Tripakolon/Grand Festival events always feel even more exciting than real life events such as the Oscars, Olympics, or World Series or Super Bowl? :)

  6. Looks like we've almost caught up to speed with the current point in the series in terms of airing, we'll never be exactly there though because the subbing process does take a certain amount of days also considering there's no official subbing services for this to work off of also considering episodes are airing every week and they need to be subbed individually, but now we appear to be caught up, I guess I didn't see the Z2 capture episode because they were released one day apart. I've downloaded this episode's sub now (*opens up episode in VLC after downloading, finds out that I have to reinstall the font settings for VLC*, ugh, I hate when I have to do that occasionally), but I'm finally done watching it.

    1. I use Media Player Classic. It's like VLC(even plays MKV without the install Font BS.)but more better. You should try it. You might give VLC up like I did.

  7. Personally I'm longing for more classic episodes! When are you gonna cater more classic adventures from Kanto to join in on the 20th anniversary celebration?? That is where it all began and you haven't even caught up subbing them... In this slow pace we'll be happy to reach the Orange Island episodes well after the 25th anniversary haha. Would it be possible to speed things up a little? Other than that excellent work on the current anime :)

    1. There's a link to a FAQ on the right-side menus that can answer that question, along with a few other questions a lot of folks ask around here.

Make sure you help someone who has a question that's answered in there by pointing it out to them, just like I did. Knowledge is power.
