  1. As always, thank you for subbing these episodes! Do you guys know when the hoopa movie will be released outside of Japan? Even a raw version? Thanks!

    1. A home release has not been announced yet, but the movies are typically released on DVD and Bluray a couple days before Christmas. Needless to say, they're popular gifts.

  4. Thank you for all your hard work subbing Pokemon! I've been following you for many years and yearning for more classic episodes since I think they are of higher quality story wise than what is being produced today! Is there a way for you guys to speed things up a little with the subbing process of untranslated classic episodes? I'm willing to support this financially if that's what it takes and I'm sure a lot of fans out there would do the same. Would it be possible to involve more translators in the process since I understand that all your free time goes into subbing new episodes? Best wishes and pokelove from Sweden!

    1. I really want classic episodes too. I was surprised when I found out most of them were not subbed. I am assuming they would need more people to do them at a faster pace. I but it is pretty rare to find someone who knows both languages, is a fan of Pokemon, and is willing to devote their time so others can enjoy the much better Japanese version.

    2. Yeah, we fell a bit behind on those, sorry.
      They're coming.

    3. Szabolcs:

      1) I respectfully disagree on Kanto. While it is the most original, in some ways most fun, and certainly funniest/dramatic in many ways, the fact that its classic doesn't make XY pale in comparison. I have re-watched all of the subbed Kanto episodes provided by pocketmonsters.net, and must say that it was a little TOO kiddie/sillie compared to some of the later series.

      2. Im sure they appreciate the financial support, but be careful not to punch a gift horse in the mouth and be the one person who broke the straw on the camels back- if they need/want financial help they will make it known.

      3) Ditto on extra writers- bear in mind, while they have their reasons, this is a small team, and they are working diligently (year round for quite a while now).

    4. Just addressing things in short:
      1) More Kanto is coming. More AG is coming. More DP is coming. Don't worry.
      2) We won't accept any financial support. We don't really have any major expenses and this is purely a hobby project. Sorry.
      3) We're certainly not opposed to receiving additional help, but unless you're fluent in Japanese, there's not really that much you can do to help, and the English Pokemon fandom isn't exactly filled with such fluent speakers.

  5. Really looking forward to them! Pokemon used to be funny with a wicked sense of style and it made me laugh even as an adult. X/Y is sadly lacking that humor most of the time in my opinion but it's still Pokemon so I won't complain too much :P Thank you!

May I ask where you obtain your RAW files?

    3. We record the show from Japanese TV and encode them ourselves.

    4. Adamant, I'm curious to know if you guys have every episode as it is or if some episodes are missing and DVD purchases will need to be made. If so, when you guys get to that bump in the road, I highly suggest crowd-funding services.
