ReplyDeleteThanks for the release ! Great Work as usual !
ReplyDeleteThat's a little strange. English muffins are not sweet, yet Eureka said, after the Bokurei took a muffin, that it liked sweets. I wonder what the Japanese mean by 'muffin'? They certainly looked like English muffins. Maybe there was jam on them?
ReplyDeleteSeems like a week of catchup and thats great as 3 more episodes to catch up on means a 5 day working week of episodes to watch.
ReplyDeleteThats if the group decides to do a daily one this week until it's caught up to the episode it should be on that is which I think could be what they were going for with 2 in a row.
It's only a nitpicky thing but if you listen to the song since I swear it says here goes z and lets go z ect.in English anyway thats the actual correct order around for the subs I would say.
Other than those lyrics of that intro song in the wrong orders to what the women is singing in English as Za = Zee = Zed so the combined English of the English words she is singing in English before the Japanese words in the line would amount to Here Goes Z/Let's Go Z ect.
Your subs are always very spot on I find to what a better dub would have been like had it existed.
I've always been a bit iffy about the song line though because she sings that bit in English so should be put in the song order rather than the Kenji to English font order of the top written intro lyrics in this rare case where there is a slight English singing in a few words just to be correct to what we hear really.
The lyrics are "Ikuze" which is Japanese for "Let's go", and the singer puts more emphasis on the "ze" part - because its (in a way) a pun due to the series being xy&Z, so the English translation which should be grammatically correct and still follows the 'pun', would be "let'z go"
