Having heard of an island called "Treasure Island" from their classmates, Satoshi and Pikachu immediately set off to explore. This is their first adventure together alone in a while, which leads to Satoshi strengthening his feelings towards Pikachu. Satoshi and Pikachu also train with Māmane and gain confidence about the battle. And then Kapu-Kokeko appeared right before their eyes!
