Satoshi and Hikari have started on a journey together, but they aren't getting along at all. When the group runs into a wild Mimirol, Hikari is eager to get it, but Satoshi keeps interfering with one thing after another, and the two eventually start fighting. But then, the Pokémon Minstrel Naoshi and his "Bud Pokémon" Subomie comes by. Hikari wants to show Satoshi what she's capable of, and asks Naoshi for a Pokémon battle...

Pocket Monsters XY 013 Nymphia VS Keromatsu! Panic in Kindergarten!!

As he continues his journey, Satoshi has a Pokémon battle with the Pokémon Trainer Première. Première uses a Nymphia, while Satoshi uses Keromatsu. "If I win, you'll have to be with me for a while", Première says, knowingly. And indeed, Nymphia takes advantage of Attract, and defeats Keromatsu. As promised, Satoshi goes with Première.

Première takes him to the kindergarten where she works. She brings a lot of Pokémon there this way, in order to let the kindergarteners interact with them. The children are overjoyed at meeting Pikachu and the other Pokémon, except for one boy, Lundi, who doesn't want to go near them. Why is he afraid of the Pokémon...?

Pocket Monsters XY 012 Catch the Pokémon Merchant! Operation: Kofuurai Disguise!!

Satoshi and his friends continue their journey. On their way, they witness the Pokémon Merchant Daz escaping from Junsa. Daz is a really nasty guy who operates as a Pokémon Merchant, and primarily makes his money by selling Vivillon. Satoshi and friends follow him, wanting to help Junsa in her chase. During the chase, they find a Kofukimushi Daz dropped.
